Dr. Jordan Shlain is a visionary healthcare leader with over 25 years of experience as a primary care physician. He founded Private Medical in 2002, pioneering a concierge-style family office that provides comprehensive, prevention-focused care to more than 1,000 individuals and families nationwide. A driving force in healthcare innovation, Dr. Shlain established one of the earliest AI digital health platforms, Healthloop, and co-founded EatReal, a non-profit revolutionizing school menus across the country. He is a medical advisor to Equinox, Function Health, a special advisor to the CEO of the Buck Institute for Research on Aging and co-founded the Private Physician Alliance. His public service includes an appointment as San Francisco’s Health Commissioner, overseeing an $800 million budget, and a board position at Hope Street Group, a bipartisan Washington, D.C. think tank. Dr. Shlain earned his M.D. from Georgetown University School of Medicine and a B.A. from UC Berkeley.
